What We Offer

 Faith and Hospitality

William Penn House is a 1917 traditional District row home in an historic neighborhood. We are 5 blocks due east of the US Capitol, the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress and within walking distance to the Smithsonian Museums. The House is 4 stories with staff living in the 4th floor rooms and in the basement.

We offer affordable loding in dorm-style rooms, as well as comfortable common living and dining rooms.  Wifi/internet is available for $5. The house has quiet hours from 10PM to 8AM, but guests are free to come and go at their leisure.  Guests are issued keys to the front door.  We ask for a $5 deposit for this key that is returned upon check-out.

Office hours are 9AM to 9PM. Room check-in is from noon to 9PM.  Late check-ins can often be arranged with notice, and $10 fee that goes directly to the staff on-duty.  Check-out is 10AM.
