General Information about Accomodations
Hospitality for Sojourners
Every year, William Penn House provides sleeping accommodations to thousands of visitors to the nation's capitol, and we especially welcome those whose conscience leads them to the D.C. area - whether to engage in dialogue with political leaders and Congressional staff, to be involved in local service projects, or to participate in other gatherings such as demonstrations and conferences.
For guests from all walks of life and every corner of the globe, we provide a shared room and breakfast at a rate of $40 to $50 per person per night, and we are conveniently located a short walking distance from Metro stations and the Capitol Building. Guests are also invited to participate in a short period of Quaker Silent Worship held each morning from 7:30 to 8:00.

Seminar Space
The William Penn House Cory Room is available to groups staying at William Penn House, or to outside groups who need only a meeting space. It comfortably holds up to 35 people depending on the arrangement of tables and chairs, which are provided. Reservations are required.
Cost to rent the Cory Room is $50 for a morning (8am-noon), afternoon (noon-5pm) or evening session (5pm-9pm), or $125 for the entire day.
Guests renting the Cory Room are welcome to bring their own drinks and food. Catering services are available, and if the group would like to use William Penn House dishes, the cost is $10 per meal. Also, the Cory Room TV (with VCR/DVD) is available for use at no cost when renting the space. Guests may also use the fax machine (at $1 per page) or the photocopier (at 10 cents per page).
