Please join us at Friends Place on Capitol Hill on Feb. 29 for a workshop on advocacy for parents with young children. The workshop will feature special guest Cynthia Changyit-Levin, author of From Changing Diapers to Changing the World: Why Moms Make Great Advocates and How to Get Started. We will hear her story as an advocate and mother and share ways parents can get involved in changing policy, with a focus on expanding the child tax credit. Children are welcome! Pizza will be served for dinner and childcare will be provided. Please RSVP by February 26.
